Medical Device R&D Engineer
Responsibilities:
-Responsible for engineering aspects of new medical
device development, including concept evaluation and
modification, feasibility study, specification development
for prototype and final design and documentations;
-Assists in the engineering aspects of new product production
-Assists in identifying and evaluating companies in
China for their technical competence as potential partners
in new product development;
-Assists in developing partnership network in China
to enhance the organizational R&D capabilities
-Work with external subcontractors for prototyping,
design implementation and manufacturing
Requirements:
-Bachelor's degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering
or related disciplines;
-More than 3 years' medical device related engineering
experience; multinational companies' experience is a
plus
-Knowledge and experience of multiple materials is preferred;
-Familiar with medical device design procedures and
standards in the U.S.
-Strong merits to experts in finite element analysis
-Proven excellent new product development and analytical
problem solving skills.
-Ability to work independently and as part of the team;
-Ability to work productively on multiple projects;
-Fluent communication capability both in Chinese and
English;
-Familiarity with multiple engineering softwares is
a must.
